NatureMark Naming Guide

NatureMark has registered NewLeaf products as new and distinct varieties.  Therefore, all NewLeaf product names are given a registered variety name.  Below is a list of registered variety names corresponding to what we have called NewLeaf brand products in the past.

REGISTERED NAME FORMERLY CALLED
NL10-RBK NewLeaf Russet Burbank
NL10-ATL NewLeaf Atlantic
NL10-SUP NewLeaf Superior
NL20-SHE NewLeaf Y Shepody
NL30-RBK-350 NewLeaf Plus Russet Burbank
The first series, NL followed by the number 10, 20 or 30 corresponds to the trait conferred in the variety.
NL10 = Colorado potato beetle resistance only
NL20 = Colorado potato beetle and potato virus Y (PVY) resistance
NL30 = Colorado potato beetle and potato leafroll virus (PLRV) resistance

The second series, which is all letters, indicates the cultivar from which this selections are derived.

RBK = Russet Burbank

ATL = Atlantic

SUP = Superior

SHE = Shepody
The third series, when present, indicates specific lines.
